1. Training Objectives:
- General Objective:
Provide students of BA in English Language Studies with political awareness and professional ethics, good health, the ability to handle well specialisation-related work, meeting the requirements of the society and of the economy in the process of international integration.
- Specific Objective:
+ Ethical qualities:
Students will have basic qualities of a graduate of English Language Studies, who has deep understanding of Marxist-Leninist Worldview and Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, who is patriotic with a love for socialism, who loves his/her students and career, and who has a high sense of responsibility, good ethics and exemplary style of a prospective officer.
+ Knowledge:
Students will have relatively broad and profound knowledge of the English language, culture and literature, develop and improve a command of communicative skills in English, allowing for a relatively stable professional level such as translators and interpreters in the field of economics, culture, society.
+ Skills:
Skills in applying knowledge of English Language and Culture to solve problems encountered during professional practice and research.
Foundational skills in conducting research into English language, literature or culture, as well as the ability to perform professionally in some other services such as tourism and museum.
2. Training duration: 4 years
3. Volume of knowledge: 139-141 credits (including 7 credits for non-specialised language, but not including the content of Physical Education (4 credits) and Defence Education (165) periods).
4. Candidates for Recruitment: Based on the recruitment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
