At the meeting, leaders of both institutions reviewed nearly two decades of partnership and discussed directions for future collaborative programs. The cooperation will focus on joint academic programs, student and faculty exchanges in Chinese Language and Vietnamese Studies, short-term study programs by semester or academic year, as well as cultural exchange and academic research activities.

According to the renewed MoU and the outcomes of the meeting, both sides will soon implement one-semester and one-year exchange programs, along with short-term programs for students of the Faculty of Chinese Language and the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies of HUFLIS. In addition, HUFLIS will welcome students from Yulin Normal University to study Vietnamese language and explore Vietnamese culture through exchange activities in Vietnam.

Through this renewed MoU, HUFLIS students will gain more opportunities to study and experience the educational and cultural environment in China, thereby improving their language proficiency, expanding international connections, and enhancing their global competencies. The MoU also marks an important step in HUFLIS’s internationalization strategy, reaffirming the university’s commitment to providing students with broader international learning and exchange opportunities.
