HUFLIS Joins Korea-Funded Global Program for Green Campus Innovation 2026-05-05

(K-INNO Global Program for Greener Campus)

On April 28, 2026, HUFLIS signed a cooperation agreement with EUCNC (Korea) and VIOT Technology JSC (VEEP, Vietnam), officially joining the K-INNO Global Program for Greener Campus—an initiative funded by the Korean government to promote sustainable technologies in higher education.

Under this agreement, EUCNC—an eco-friendly coating manufacturer—will provide HUFLIS with i-cellent coating paint free of charge for its administration building. The coating offers heat resistance, waterproofing, and thermal insulation, helping reduce energy consumption by up to 30%. It is widely used in public facilities and schools in Korea under government-supported programs. At HUFLIS, this solution is expected to improve building performance and create a more comfortable, energy-efficient environment for staff and students.

During the meeting, opportunities to collaborate on infrastructure improvement and digital energy management were also discussed. In Phase 2, VEEP and EUCNC will sponsor the installation of a comprehensive energy monitoring system, including smart meters, sensors, and AMIGO management software. This system will enable the university to better track and optimize electricity use, supporting its transition toward a smart and sustainable campus.

As part of the program, HUFLIS and EUCNC also signed an agreement confirming the Korean government’s sponsorship of the coating materials. This milestone strengthens HUFLIS’s international partnerships and opens up new opportunities for collaboration in technology, environmental innovation, and sustainable development.
