Reception of Ms Alice Chang, Third Secretary of Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ha Noi 2019-02-28
On the morning of February 28th, 2019, representatives of Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, led by Ms. Alice Chang, Third Secretary, visited and introduced scholarships to study in Taiwan for students of University of Foreign Languages, Hue University.
Dr. Bao Kham, Rector of the University, representatives of Office for Science, Technology and International Cooperation, Chinese Faculty and Faculty of Vietnamese Studies welcomed and received the delegation. At the reception, Dr. Bao Kham appreciated the support and assistance of Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, in Hanoi for introducing lecturers to teach in Chinese Faculty and looked forward to receiving more support from the Office. Dr. Bao Kham also introduced Ms. Alice Chang about the Vietnamese language teaching program for foreigners, which is undertaken by Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and hoped that the Office will be the bridge to introduce the program to the units that need to study Vietnamese in Taiwan.
Ms. Alice Chang thanked the university for creating favorable conditions for the teachers to fulfill their teaching duties at the university and look forward to receiving HU-UFL cooperation in organizing the Chinese language proficiency test (TOCFL), every year.
After the reception, the delegation met students of Chinese Faculty to introduce scholarships of Taiwanese government and the Chinese language proficiency test (TOCFL).
