Seminar on English Language Teaching 2018-04-03
On April 2, 2018, the seminar on “The Use of Vietnamese in the English language classroom”, led by Assoc. Prof. Michael Harington from the University of Queensland, Australia, was successfully held at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University.
The seminar attracted more than 50 English teachers and graduate students of English Teaching Methodology at HU-UFL. Through the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Michael Harrington has provided the participants with useful knowledge about using L1 in an L2 classroom, its importance and how to use it properly.
Besides, Assoc. Prof. Harrington also introduced to the participants the PhD program on TESOL at the University of Queensland, which is largely concerned among English teachers and graduate students
