On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung - Vice Rector, and representatives of English Faculty received the delegation. At the meeting, the two sides presented a general overview of the two institutions, preliminarily discussed the implementation of collaborative activities in training programs of master students, PhD students, staff exchange, scientific research exchange etc., and the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding on education cooperation.

After the reception, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Indika Liyanage and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Tran delivered a talk with English teachers and postgraduate students on the topic: “Language Teacher Engagement and Critical Metacognitive Mindfulness”, and exchanged research issues of teachers and students’ interest.

The visit of the representatives of Deakin University, Australia to University of Foreign Languages, Hue University really marked a significant step forward, setting the foundation for further activities in the cooperation between the two universities.
