Seminar on Reading Circle and Extensive Reading 2017-09-07

On the morning of September 6, 2017, University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held a seminar on "Reading Circle and Extensive Reading" presented by Prof. Michael Furmanovsky and Dr. Rob Waring. English teachers, Doctoral candidates, MA students and fourth year students attended the seminar.

The seminar was organized with an aim to enhance the understanding and application of reading comprehension in teaching process of the teachers, towards building students’ awareness, reading habit and at the same time strengthening the English capacity for students of the university.

Prof. Michael Furmanovsky, a lecturer at Ryukoku University, Japan and Dr. Rob Waring, a lecturer at Notre Dame Seishin University, Japan, are experts in the field of extensive reading, consulting on extensive reading programs for more than 60 universities in different countries around the world.
