The delegation of administrative staff, lecturers and students from University of Foreign Languages, Hue University attend the ASEAN Day at Buriram Rajabhat University, Thailand 2017-08-24
Within the framework of cooperation between the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University ( HU-UFL) and Buriram Rajabhat University, assigned by the Rectorate Board of the University, on August 8 and 9 2017, the delegation of administrative staff, lecturers of Vietnamese Studies Faculty and students from HU-UFL attended the ASEAN Day and held the Vietnam Day at Buriram Rajabhat University.

This first Vietnam Day event, with several interesting activities, attracted nearly 200 students from Buriram Rajabhat University and schools in Buriram Province. The event aimed at promoting Vietnamese language and culture through activities such as basic Vietnamese teaching, Vietnamese language program consultancy, quiz on Vietnam, introduction of Vietnamese traditional cuisines etc. After the establishment of Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture at Buriram Rajabhat University in November, 2016, the Vietnam Day indeed brought to the participants interesting knowledge about Vietnam, Vietnamese language and culture, necessary information about Vietnamese language training courses, which helped arouse Thai students’ interest in Vietnam and its language and culture. In addition, such cooperation activities are expected to further enhance the friendship between the two institutions in the future, particularly the prospective establishment of Thai Language and Culture Center at University of Foreign Languages, Hue University.
