The signing ceremony of educational cooperation on awarding scholarships to students of University of Foreign Languages, Hue University with the Korea Military Merit Awardees Association 2017-07-05
On the morning of June 29th, 2017 the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held a meeting with the Korea Military Merit Awardees Association on awarding scholarships to students of the University.
The delegation of Korea Military Merit Awardees Association including 26 members led by Park Jong Kil, Chairman of the Association, attended the meeting. On behalf of the university, Dr. Bao Kham, Rector, Mr. Pham Anh Huy, Head of Office for Student Affairs, representatives of Office for Science, Technology and International Cooperation and Faculty of Korean Language & Culture welcomed the delegation of the Association.
Park Jong Kil and Dr. Bao Kham shared views on the Korean language training at the university and cooperation opportunities of the two institutions in the two countries' strategic partnership.
As a primary concern for the education of young people, the Association also expressed its wish to build a long-term cooperation relationship with University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. The two sides have signed a memorandum of understanding on awarding scholarships of the Association to students of Faculty of Korean Language and Culture. Each year, there are 10 scholarships, each worth 200 USD.
