The conference  focused on sub-themes such as Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) in teacher  training and language training, English teachers’ language proficiency, teachers training and professional development, materials evaluation and development, testing and assessment in EFL, application of information technology in foreign language teaching etc.

The conference aimed at creating a forum for researchers, experts of English teaching and teacher training, lecturers of English to exchange scientific information, update and share experiences as well as research findings on issues related to English teacher competencies framework, professional activities, improvement and retention of English teachers’ competencies from both perspectives of policy and practical implementation.
