Reception of the delegation from Sangmyung University, Korea 2017-05-05

On April 28, 2017, University of Foreign Languages, Hue University welcomed the delegation of Sangmyung University, Korea to visit and meet with representatives of the university.

At this first meeting, two parties introduced information about the two universities, language training in general and Korean in particular. Dr. Nguyen Tinh, Vice Rector of HU-UFL and Dr. Hangrok Cho, Director of the Korean Language and Culture Institute, Sangmyung University shared the common interests of two educational institutions on cultural exchanges, teacher-student exchanges, joint-training programmes, etc. Sangmyung University also pledged to provide scholarships of Master's and Doctoral degrees for lecturers at Department of Korean Languages and Culture who wish to study and improve their professional competence. The two universities are proceeding necessary steps to sign the Memorandum of Understanding, creating the premise for the future cooperation activities.
