On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung, the Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lieu Linh Chuyen, the Chairman of the University Council, the representatives of the Office for Research management & International Cooperation and the representatives of the Chinese Faculty welcomed the delegation. In addition, Ms. Tran Thi Mai, the President of the Union of Organizations of Thua Thien Hue Province; Mr. Vo Dinh Anh Tuan, the Vice President, the General Secretary of the Union of Organizations of Thua Thien Hue Province, Mr. Tran Dinh Binh, the Chairman of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Thua Thien Hue Province and other members were also present.

In her speech at the reception, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung expressed sincere thanks to the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Da Nang for their continuous support to the training activities at the University - especially the donation of equipment to support teaching and learning of Chinese at HUFL. At the same time, the Rector also appreciated the Union of the Friendship Organizations of Thua Thien Hue province for accompanying and connecting the University with foreign partners, especially China, in the field of education and training. The representatives of the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang and the representatives of the Union of the Friendship Organizations of Thua Thien Hue province highly appreciated the achievements that the University has gained in recent years and affirmed that they will continue connecting and promoting cooperation between HUFL and organizations in China, in accordance with the strength of training, scientific research, and the development orientation of the University. On this occasion, the Consul General Dong Biyou also presented a set of digital equipment, which is worth VND 160 million, to support the teaching and learning of Chinese language at HUFL.

This event has affirmed the University's goal of strengthening cooperation with the international community in investment programs, projects, and sustainable development.
