HUFL Rector A/Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung, and representatives from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture and the Office for Research Management and International Cooperation cordially received the delegation.

At the reception, A/Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung expressed the pleasure to welcome the Consul General of the Republic of Korea at the university for the first time. She took the opportunity to give a brief introduction to teaching and learning activities of the HUFL Faculty of Korean Language and Culture as well as its community services. The Rector also wished to benefit from the Consulate General support for the teaching and learning of Korean language and culture in particular, and to strengthen the Vietnam-Korea relationship via Korean activities in Thua Thien Hue province in general.  

On the part of Korean Consul General, Mr. Ah Min Sik appreciated the quality of Korean teaching and learning at HUFL as well as the participation of HUFL in the activities organized by the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Danang. He also expressed his wish to make the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at HUFL the Centre for Korean teaching and learning of Central Vietnam. Moreover, the Consul General promised to support HUFL and cooperate with HUFL in the future to promote the relationship between Vietnam and Korea in the Central Vietnam area. On this occasion, he also visited the Korean corner at the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture.
